چکیده

This work derives the linearized equations of motion, the Lagrangian density, the Hamiltonian density, and the canonical angular momentum density for general perturbations [∝ exp(imφ) with m = 0,±1, ..] of a geometrically thin self-gravitating, homentropic fluid disk including the pressure. The theory is applied to “eccentric,” m = ±1 perturbations of a geometrically thin Keplerian disk. We find m = 1 modes at low frequencies relative to the Keplerian frequency. Further, it shown that these modes can have negative energy and negative angular momentum. The radial propagation of these low frequency m = 1 modes can transport angular momentum away from the inner region of a disk and thus increase the rate of mass accretion. Depending on the radial boundary conditions there can be discrete low-frequency, negative-energy, m = 1 modes. key words: accretion, accretion disks—instabilities— galaxies: kinematics and dynamics

Angular momentum transport in thin accretion disks and intermittent accretion.

The plasma modes, transporting angular momentum in accretion disks, under minimally restrictive conditions when the magnetic energy density is significant relative to the thermal energy density, are shown to be singular if the ideal MHD approximation is adopted. A similarity with the modes producing magnetic reconnection in current carrying plasmas is established. The combined effects of finite...

Selfgravity and QSO disks

It is well known that the outer parts of QSO accretion disks are prone to selfgravity if heated solely by orbital dissipation. Such disks might be expected to form stars rather than accrete onto the black hole. The arguments leading to this conclusion are reviewed. Conversion of a part of the gas into high-mass stars or stellar-mass black holes, and the release of energy in these objects by fus...

Effect of the temperature profile of the accretion disk on the structure of jets and outflows around protostars

Magnetic fields play an important role in creating, driving, and in the evolution of outflows and jets from protostars and accretion disks. On the other hand, the temperature profile of the accretion disks may also affect the structure of the magnetic field and outflows. In this paper, we use the self-similar method in cylindrical coordinates to investigate the effect of the temperature profile...

On the Nature of Angular Momentum Transport in Nonradiative Accretion Flows

The principles underlying a proposed class of black hole accretion models are examined. The flows are generally referred to as “convection-dominated,” and are characterized by inward transport of angular momentum by thermal convection and outward viscous transport, vanishing mass accretion, and vanishing local energy dissipation. In this paper we examine the viability of these ideas by explicit...

اثر باد چرخشی در قرص‌های برافزایشی فوق بحرانی با اعمال فشار تابشی

We solved one-dimensional hydrodynamic (HD) equations of the slim disks in the presence of the wind and in cylindrical coordinates using self-similar solution. We considered power-law function of for mass loss rate due to wind. Then, we considered mass loss, angular-momentum loss and energy loss in equations. Then, we treated the influence of wind on the dynamics of the system. As an agreement ...
